DELIVERY POLICY

We do not delivery to locations outside NZ.

For delivery in NZ we offer three delivery options. However, certain delivery options may not be suitable for certain products. For example large products may not be able to be couriered. Where you select a delivery option that is not suitable for the product you have ordered we will contact you to discuss delivery options.


Option One: Click & collect – pickup in-store from one of 9 Look Floors store locations – nationwide

Online orders can be picked up from your nearest Look Floors store Mon - Fri 9am-4pm excluding public holidays.

Generally, orders placed between 7am and midday will be able to be collected after 1.30pm on the same day and orders placed after midday will be able to be collected after 2pm on the same day.

Simply choose Pick Up as the delivery method in the checkout.


Option Two: Courier delivery – nationwide (Track and trace to your front door)

Every order at Look Floors promises fast, monitored shipping to your door, anywhere in New Zealand. Courier pickups from all branches are Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays.

Orders placed by 2pm will be dispatched the same day provided that your requested item(s) are in stock.

Delivery requires a signature upon receipt, however, to change any Delivery Instructions, please see the box (shipping options) provided at the checkout on how you want your order delivered. For example, No signature required or leave on front porch etc.

How much does a Courier Delivery cost?

To ensure our customers get the best rate Look Floors stores use various Courier suppliers. The cost of each delivery varies on the size and weight of your order, as well as the distance it will travel. Rural deliveries and any outer islands e.g. Waiheke Island etc. incur an additional courier charge. All orders over $1000 excl. GST will be delivered freight free, unless there are special delivery requirements. Dangerous Goods may be incur an extra charge.

How fast is Courier Delivery?
Delivery estimates are as follows:

  • Main Centres - Overnight
  • Inter-Island – 2 working days
  • Outer Islands – 3 working days
  • Rural – Up to 5 working days
  • Dangerous Goods may take up to 5 working days for all destinations


Option Three: Truck delivery – nationwide

Every order at Look Floors promises fast, monitored shipping to your door, anywhere in New Zealand. Freight truck pickups from all branches are Monday – Friday, excluding public holidays.

Orders placed by midday will be dispatched the same day provided that your requested item(s) are in stock.

Delivery requires a signature upon receipt, however, to change any Delivery Instructions, please see the box (shipping options) provided at the checkout on how you want your order delivered. For example, No signature required or leave on front porch etc.

It is your responsibility to unload products within 10 minutes of the truck arrival or you may incur an extra charge.

The cost of each delivery varies on the size and weight of your order, as well as the distance it will travel. Rural deliveries and any outer islands e.g. Waiheke Island etc. incur an additional courier charge. All orders over $1000 excl. General (Applies to all options)

We may not be able to deliver products to some locations and if we cannot do so we will contact you to explore alternative arrangements.

We will use our best endeavours to deliver products at the time requested by you but will not be responsible for any loss or damage (in either case, of any kind and whether direct, indirect or consequential) arising from any delay in the delivery of the products from any cause whatsoever nor shall any such delay entitle you to cancel any order or to refuse to accept delivery at any time.

Where you select courier or truck delivery you must ensure that the courier company or our carriers have uninterrupted access to the delivery address to enable the products to be delivered. Where access is not provided or you fail or refuse to take delivery of the products, the courier company or our carriers may leave the products at the delivery address (and the products will be deemed to be delivered). If the courier company or our carriers do not leave the products at the delivery address you may be required to pay any charges incurred to compensate us and the courier company or our carriers for wasted time and expenditure including any storage charges.

We may require the person accepting the delivery of your order to provide us with proof of that person’s identity (including photographic identification) and where relevant, age. If the order has been paid by credit card we may also ask you to show us the credit card for us to conduct our verification checks.

You acknowledge and agree than any person at the delivery address who receives the products is authorized by you to receive your order.
