-
Packaging: Available in 18 kg plastic tubs.
-
Coverage: Approximately 0.8 to 1.0 kg per m² for on-edge lamella parquet; 0.8 to 1.5 kg per m² for sound insulation and decoupling mats. Coverage may vary depending on substrate texture.
Application Areas:
-
Floor Coverings: Suitable for engineered timber, strip parquet, cork, and ARDEX sound insulation and decoupling mats.
-
Substrates: Compatible with all suitable absorbent and non-absorbent substrates.
Substrate Preparation:
-
Ensure the subfloor is dry, clean, firm, and free from dust, dirt, oil, grease, curing compounds, release agents, and other barrier materials.
-
Uneven subfloors should be levelled with appropriate ARDEX levelling and smoothing compounds.
Application Instructions:
-
Priming: Priming is not required over ARDEX levelling compounds. Use ARDEX PU 30 over other substrates as per the product datasheet.
-
Application: Apply ARDEX AF 460 MS evenly to the prepared substrate using the appropriate serrated trowel, held at approximately a 60-degree angle to the subfloor.
-
Floor Covering Installation: Install the floor covering directly into the wet adhesive, pressing down to ensure full contact.
-
Curing: Allow the adhesive to cure as per the specified times before subjecting the floor to traffic or use.
