SalSales and Warehouse Administrator - Christchurch

Look Floors is an established building and flooring industry supplier, celebrating over 20 years of business success.  With 10 branches New Zealand wide, we have an enviable reputation for technical knowledge, great customer service/support and an innovative product mix.

Due to promotion and continued strong growth we are looking for a Sales and Warehouse Administrator to ensure our Christchurch Branch and South Island Territory are functioning at the highest level.  This role has loads of variety and would suit someone who enjoys working in a trades environment. 

You will be responsible for

  • Opening and closing the trades store
  • Face to face customer sales
  • Dealing with phone queries and orders
  • Providing support to the sales team
  • Dealing with account queries and credit control
  • Maintain relationships and instore sales volumes
  • Warehousing responsibilities (receipting inwards goods, freight notes)
  • Picking, packing and shipping orders
  • Stock taking and inventory control
  • Devanning containers and loading and unloading trucks

  • To be a self-starter
  • Have great time management skills
  • Good computer skills (word, excel, outlook and the ability to learn inhouse packages quickly)
  • A passion for exceptional customer service
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to follow systems and processes well
  • Forklift licence
  • The ability to roll your sleeves up and do a bit of heavy lifting.

Due to maternity leave we are looking for a fixed term Sales and Warehouse Administrator to ensure our Hamilton Branch are functioning at the highest level.  This role has loads of variety and would suit someone who enjoys working in a trades environment.  This role may lead to a permanent role.

You will be responsible for
