Account Manager - Christchurch

Account Manager - Flooring Industry

Look Floors provide specialised products to the Flooring Industry. We sell many of the best quality products on the market and provide our customers with the best possible service and support. We have a great team of people working hard around the country and are looking for a new person to come on-board in this existing position as an account manager in the South Island based out of Christchurch.

We are a continuously evolving company and wish to employ an enthusiastic account manager to grow and develop with our company.  Training will be provided.

We offer a supportive team environment, however, there is still a lot of autonomy within the role requiring good time management and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to multitask and think on your feet. 
The role will require regular travel away from home base.

Reporting to the Regional Manager the role will be responsible for:

* Achieving monthly sales targets.
* Maintaining good relationships with existing clients to maximise sales and market share.
* Contacting and developing new accounts and identifying new business opportunities. 
We are looking for a person who:
* Loves to achieve sales targets
* Has experience in sales and a proven track record.
* Displays excellent presentation and communication skills.
* Has strong organisation and time management skills.
* Enjoys networking and developing new market segments.
* Is self-motivated and professional.
* Is a team player with good initiative and judgement.
* Enjoys working within a dynamic team.
Note: Previous experience in the flooring or building sectors would be advantageous.

Warehouse/Customer Service Role

We are looking for a new team member in our Warehouse & Trade Store.  

The role is varied and we are looking for someone who is able and willing to get stuck in to all aspects of the warehouse role and add value to our growth strategies. Responsibilities will include, supporting local sales reps, assisting customers providing service and support to their needs, picking & packing / dispatching orders, general warehousing tasks, managing stock levels, inwards and outwards goods, stock taking, communicating with staff around the country and within Head Office.

About you:

  • Ability to build relationships - outgoing
  •  VERY Reliable, strong organisational skills, self-motivated, professional, excellent communication skills
  • Can work under pressure
  •  High levels of initiative
  •  You must be willing to learn and up skill
  •  Very good computer skills
  •  Hold a clean drivers licence
  •  Previous experience in a warehouse, and the building/flooring  industry an advantage.
  • Healthy, athletic - some heavy lifting required.
  •  Fork lift licence will be needed (assistance will be provided if needed)
